Top teams on road and track rely on Skidmarx, because they need a screen that fits first time and gives them added protection.
Since we started out in 1999, our race screens have been the choice of British Superbike champions, including Shane 'Shakey' Byrne in 2014, while on the Isle of Man, many famous names, including John McGuinness, Michael Dunlop and Ian Hutchinson have raced and won behind Skidmarx screens. We currently supply screens to Be Wiser Ducati in the British Superbike championship and James Hillier on the Quattro Plant Kawasaki for his road racing campaign at the NW200 and Isle of Man TT.
We produce standard, double bubble and tall/flip-up screens, all made in our Weymouth factory, by skilled craftsmen. The range is extensive, covering all makes, models and styles of motorcycle, going back over many years. We also produce fly screens and cruiser windshields for naked and cruiser style bikes.
You'll also find rear huggers, front guards. belly pans and race fairings listed on our website, so have a browse or contact us for friendly advice.
Our range is exhaustive, covering machines going back many years, and we are always adding products to the range, so if you can't see your bike listed, contact us to check availability.
We also have the capacity to make acrylic screens, windshields and windows for other sporting and leisure applications and our staff have considerable experience in producing items for boats and marine use.
“Skidmarx have done a top job with my screens for this year. Quite an important piece of the puzzle for the high speeds of road racing”. James Hillier, speaking after his victory at the 2019 NW200.
